Bay Harbor Properties today announced an agreement with Chicagobased Allied Hospitality Group, Inc. to provide marketing and management support to Bay Harbor Place, a 78room, luxury condominium/hotel that is part of the $50 million Bay Harbor Marina District.
During the summer season, rental of these suites begins at $395 per night and are also available for purchase, with prices ranging from $395,000 to several million dollars. Allied Hospitality Group will manage the rental of these suites during the periods of time when owners are not in residence. Until a recent change in ownership, Allied managed the fourstar Townsend Hotel in Birmingham, Mich. It also manages the newly opened Dylan Hotel in New York City, the new Grand Hotel in Minneapolis and the Marriott Ft. Lauderdale North. The Group has a significant presence throughout the Midwest, where Allied operates 17 hotel properties. Using its strong marketing and sales presence, Allied has previously shown excellent results in increasing the occupancy and revenue levels of properties it manages.

David V. Johnson, chairman of Victor International and codeveloper of Bay Harbor, said, “Our rental management will be personally handled by David Falor, whose experience includes management of such prestigious properties as the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham, Mich. and the Sheraton Boca Raton in Florida.

Allied's reputation for flawless attention to detail mirrors that of Bay Harbor and Victor, ensuring our owners of top quality service and a focused, effective marketing program." Wally Kidd, president of Bay Harbor Properties, emphasized that Bay Harbor employees will continue to handle onsite management and will remain responsible for all contact with owners regarding rental management.

Allied Hospitality Group, Inc. was formed as Paramount Hotels in 1983, expanding to serve resorts and restaurants under the Allied name in 1992. The group currently manages properties in Michigan, Florida, Illinois, Minnesota, Colorado and New York. Before founding the firm, Allied president and CEO David Falor was senior vice president of operations for the Coleman Hotel Group, owner of the Ritz Carlton Hotels in New York and Washington, D.C., as well as the Whitehall and the Tremont Hotels in Chicago.

In addition to Bay Harbor Place, located in the resort's Marina District, the fourseason Bay Harbor community includes an Arthur Hills championship golf course, yacht club, equestrian center, pool and spa, retail complex, restaurants, and 29 separate neighborhoods of single family homes.
